Warranty Voided By Business?
Buying a 2023 Fleetwood and am being told because I’m buying it in the name of the business, it voids the warranty. Is this true? I can’t tell if it’s just the dealer trying to sell me on their warranty that I don’t want to buy. It will be in the name of a business but not actually used for business purposes.

Call Fleetwood direct and ask them.
"contact our customer service department at 800-322-8216 for a full explanation of benefits and restrictions."

I suspect the warranty doesn't apply to commercial use. The question is whether there will be an automatic presumption by the mfr that a business-bought unit will be used commercially. It very well may be so, since usually something bought by a business does get used by the business, and mfrs have little or no incentive to differentiate special cases like yours.

They do if they want me to buy one of their products. Perhaps they won’t care but I’m guessing they will in this environment.

They probably won't care because you're not their customer, the dealer is. As far as the manufacturer is concerned they made their profit when the dealer bought the motorhome. You're an expense due to warranty exposure.
And yes, that exclusion is in all of the RV warranty docs I've read. Registered to a business = presumed to be commercial use, because it is.

Yes, it's true. They don't care if you aren't going to use it for commercial circumstances. You could go back on your word. They don't trust you any farther than they can throw the RV. You title it in the business name, it's considered being used for commercial purposes = warranty void.

True, but if I don’t buy, dealer may not buy another until that unit is moved. I’m just gonna call Fleetwood. Either they’re going to stand behind their product or they’re not.

I'm just wondering what the advantage is to having the RV titled in a business name?

Titled to a business means insurance should also be commercial insurance. Personally I suspect you're beating your head against a wall.
As to why he wants to buy in the name of a business, then the MH could be depreciated on the business taxes.

Every good business accountant knows all the legal loopholes and how to use them to the companies advantage. That's why they are so well paid.

Umbrella policy that the business probably has should cover it.
As to getting all puffy with Fleetwood? Good luck.
