My RV is 12’ 9 “
I will not go under a underpass below 13’ 3” just to be safe and to account for some error
Maine Turnpike maximum is 13’ 5” , the lowest interstate requirements I have seen.

That's interesting. We're heading to Acadia in Aug. Our is only 11ft, but 13.5 sounds like many others would be close.

The Eisenhower tunnel on I-70 west of Denver says the maximum deck height is 13ft-9in. My Newmar DutchStar is 13ft-1in. Makes you think if you actually read the signs. I’ve seen many RVs going the road with antennas raised.

It's amazing how many people just keep going after ripping their roofs off and don't even stop to move the RV ACs or whatever other debris out of the road. There was a perfect peel of a 18 wheel trailer roof just the other day.
Too ashamed to go back and get laughed at

I am sometimes wondering if the folks who hang the signs have a rule to post the number exactly or to give it a few inches of margin? I guess it would have to be the minimum across the full lane width anyway and many tunnels are higher in the middle. But...who wants to take the risk.
