Water heater DSI fault Starcraft Launch 24RLS

I have a Atwood water heater in a new TT. Hot water heater worked for two days and now the fault light stays on.
I turned off the power switch to reset, it tries three times and then fault light stays on.
Checked the fuses no short.
Ran furnace and stove to clear and problems with the gas lines...

Does anybody have any other ideas?

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Since this is a new TT I wonder if there's a gas shutoff valve there somewhere? I would call the service manager at the dealer where you bought it. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Atwood fault light when using propane......3x and lock-out

IS main flame lighting off at all?
Or does spark electrode just 'click, click, click' w/o any gas ignition?

Main flame lighting then going out......flame proving signal failure
Could be issues with spark electrode, the wire and or the ground

Just sparking/no flame......that sounds like a bad circuit board
(Atwood had a BUNCH of those due to a Chinese Vendor....they corrected that Sept 2018)

Problem solved at dealer / water heater

I was directed to the closest dealer in Texas. Nice group at Greg Orr Extreme in Texarkana. Turns out there was a vapor lock on the line to the water heater. The suggestion was I turned on the gas valve to quickly and it caused the problem. Running furnace and stove did not clear the problem, you need to turn on the valve slowly.

Horse pucky.......

Propane service valve supplies ALL of the propane system and appliances.
Furnace running OK (huge propane demand) and stove working OK then the 'excess flow device' was NOT tripped

Yes opening the propane service valve too quickly can trip the excess flow device which then limits the amount of propane that can flow.....but furnace would not work correctly, stove top burners would not burn correctly, fridge would have issue and so would water heater....would NT just be one appliance and not the others

Horse pucky!

Glad your water heater is now working but the excuse given doesn't hold water
