Water pump

2006 Gulfstream 24FRBW 5th wheel. 10amp water pump fuse was blown. Replaced fuse now pump won’t shut off and light on the control board won’t shut off even with the pump unwired. Ohm switch is good and I hooked up a temporary switch pump still won’t shut off. Fuse hasn’t blown since replaced. I have looked for a secondary pump switch and do t see anything. Any thoughts

Thanks
David

The first thing I would check is the pressure switch right on the pump.

Water pump

You might want to consider replacing your pump if this is the original. Travato john

Yep.....pressure switch controls pump start/stop
Low plumbing system pressure it closes/starts pump
High plumbing system pressure it opens/stops pump

Typically 30/45 psi set points OR 40/55 psi set points

They fail .....

Are you saying that it's been running for 16 years? Is it a new to you coach? Good that you got it fixed.

Yes, odd statement... who are "they"?

I can see that if the pump was wired backwards (only two wires usually) it would run in reverse and as mentioned would not build pressure. Good it is working!
