Water pump runs but no water.

After I did all winterization steps, I added antifreeze to the fresh water tank but when I tried to run it through my fresh water system the water pump ran but it failed to deliver the antifreez through the system. I'd appreciate suggestions to solve the problem. Thank you.

How much antifreeze did you put into the tank. I have to put about 4 gallons in my dry tank before the level is above the pickup tube for the pump to work.
I usually put 6 gallons in the tank, use about two to fill the lines well with antifreeze and drain the tank into empty jugs to use again. Some of what I drain out will go into drains and holding tanks to protect them.

And don't put antifreeze in the freshwater tank. Feeds in through the suction side of the pump, with the water heater bypass on so that it stays anti-freeze free also.

a hose and a valve at the inlet side of the pump allows the hose to be put directly in the antifreeze container and the pump will draw directly from it.
Went from 6 gallons in the fresh water tank (needed to get the level high enough) to using only 1.5 gallons to winterize. (hot water heater bypass is a must. also includes washer.)
