Water Stained Glass Remedy!!!

Thought I would share a great product!

Recently my wife and I were in Maui and were staying with a friend who lived on the ocean. His vehicle's windshield was perminently water stained from salt water (so we thought) being so close to the ocean.

We did some research and found this powered product called "Nothin's Better" by Watkins.
You use a wet damp cloth with a dab of the powder and rub the heck out of the water stains. Do a small area at a time.
Sometimes you have to do two applications to fully remove the droplet spots.
Using #0000 or #00000 steel wool eases the effort.

It takes some elbow grease, but the end result is a perfectly clear windshield! It REALLY works!

Ya seen that before. Steel wool alone didn't seem to phase some of the salt water stains. It was bad.

Diatomaceous earth, a dab of water and and #0000 steel wool.

I'll bet that's what's in your "all natural" cleaner.

I have always used a damp washrag with Barkeeper's Friend. Make it like a paste....rub it on and let dry and wipe it off!

Dogpatch,

Since no one else has bothered to say it, thanks for posting your remedy. I'll keep it in mind should I encounter the same problem.

Ditto!! Thanks, Les. I'm going to see if Amazon carries that stuff.

I Googled it.

I read Ace Hardware carries it in the western States. Auto supplies stores were mentioned as well. The phone number on the jar in the photo also comes up.

I'll have to check at our local Ace to see if they have it.
