Waterproofing the Water Inlet.

The check valve in my old water inlet is leaking. I bought a new water flange, but it doesn’t have the white sealing on the bottom that the old one has. I cannot remove this plastic part from the old one. Where can I buy such a sealing ring?
I have tried to put Teflon tape around the thread, but it is still leaking a little bit.

I'm not sure why you can't remove the rubber and plastic from the brass. Can you post a picture of the connector you're trying to attach .

Because these are pictures of the fittings and seal used in my coach.

OK, I think I got new ones of those when I replaced my water pump , I'll need to go to the coach to look at them from that angle . BRB.

EDIT: Back in time to add pictures here.

I believe your fitting ( shown in your last picture ) is broken , and the broken portion has jammed the tapered seal ring in the brass fitting.
Picture 1 , is the install kit that came with my new water pump.
Picture 2, the fitting showing the ridge that holds the two pieces together on the outside .
Picture 3, the ridge inside the nut , I'm thinking your fitting is broken at that ridge , and needs to be replaced .

A second thought ; I always have them ; In the years between our coaches being built , perhaps the fittings have changed , but , if the fitting isn't broken then the issue with leakage would be that the deformed hardened surface of the seal ( due to years of compression ) will no longer conform to the inner surface of the fitting.

EDIT: My speed reading needs work ( still ) : just realized your trying to seal the new water inlet without the tapered seal .
The soft rubber tapered seals I've pictured are for use with the shouldered fittings , not the flat surface type you have .
Did you purchase the water inlet locally ?
I'll see if I can find a P/N or supplier for the tapered seal ; JMHO , the new part should have come with one.

The picture shows the old water inlet. It was not leaking at this white plastic sealing. The fitting is also not broken. Maybe I can pull out this white plastic with pliers, but then the plastic will be broken.
I would just like to find a source where I can buy a new sealing ring. If I would know where I could search for...

I've been on the internet , and every city water connector pictured doesn't show the seal .

Before you use pliers , soak the old connector in a pail of hot water to see if the seal will separate when it gets a little pliable .

I will keep looking .

RV Upgrades site lists this Zurn Pex QC3 cone , material I've never heard of $0.33 .

Why it's not included with the city water connector I have no idea.

Amazon , had this Zurn system cap , didn't dig around to see if the cone was available.

Thank you! That looks good. Now I need to find it for 5/8" (inner diameter of my water inlet).

I think the cones are measured and sold by inside diameter .

I bought some more Teflon tape and wrapped it around the threat and now it is tight, also without a cone.
Thank you for the support, Skip426.

Every RV owner should have a water alarm near and under groups of piping. My RV had a small leak for months/years that ultimately destroyed the bathroom floor.

I mounted a few of these behind the walls of my storage compartment where a lot of plumbing is exposed. I put one directly under the toilet, another next to the 12v water pump, and the third directly below the shower drain.
