In August I discovered ”Aero Wash n Wax All” waterless wash & wax. I was actually quite skeptical about the product, but I was sick of taking 3-4 hours to do the RV, repeatedly climbing up & down a ladder to reach the top half of the RV, and then having to spend another 3 hours or so hand waxing. All I can say about the product is—WOW!! I use an extendable washing brush sold by the company (the brush is very well made), and so the only need for using a ladder is to do the roof. I can wash & wax the entire RV in a fraction of the time. Amazing product that I wish I had discovered years ago. I do the roof weekly to prevent black streaks, and the rest of the RV every 3 months.

Have had Diesel Pushers for over 20 years and have never waxed any of them, it's just not necessary. Most RV paint jobs are topped off with Gelcoat which is basically a clear coating. Waxing the coating serves absolutely no purpose. In fact, depending on the wax you use you may actually damage the clear coat with scratches etc. The simplest, easiest, least labor intensive, and least expensive way of cleaning your RV and keeping it's paint surface shinny and always looking like new is to wash with a mild detergent like baby shampoo and then rinse with de-ionized water. I use a C R Spotless Water System and it works like a charm. Wash, rinse and let the rig air dry (that's right, air dry), either in the shade or in direct sunlight. The rig will dry spot free, without streaks and will look like a showroom wax job. The water system comes in a variety of models and is not that expensive, certainly not more than hiring a team of people to come over and wash and wax the whole thing at about $10 a foot. I wash my rig several times each year and the spotless water system has paid for itself 10 times over and never a need for ladders, buffing wheels, wax and hours of effort. Give it some thought! Wax is just not needed and it comes with a totally unnecessary amount of physical labor.

Just did mine with Nu Finish. Fairly easy to apply and buff off. Took two days for a 40’ motorhome. Nice and shiny.

Since I have a fiberglass roof a use a mop on sealant on the roof after cleaning it with a floor scrubber and then use Meguiars Flagship Liquid Marine Wax or Meguiars OneStep Liquid Marine Wax if there is some oxidation along with a Harbor Freight polisher.
My coach is not painted so its mostly just Pilon Panels and Gel Coat with the only paint being on the basement door skins. I use Mothers California Wax on the basement doors with the automotive paint on them.
I just ran it for about 3 days since I had to use compound and then wax and its held up fine even after years of buffing boats, etc. Its a low amp polisher that goes on sale for less than $15 so I do not try to use it like a $150 commercial unit.

I use the following:
1. NuFinish polish.
2. Grandchildren.
3. Bag-o-money.
Works well, and we have some fun doing it too. They like that bag when we're all done.
I have done my rig by myself, it takes 4 days to wax it.

I'm liking the Meguires Brand of products. Ultimate Car wash first; after it's clean and dryI use Meguires Ultimate Car Wax. I have a good finish to start with so it doesn't take but about half a 16oz bottle to do a 43 footer. I like the plastic handle hand buffer pad kit from Walmart with 4 pads $5. A ladder and 3 days and it shines like new without killing myself; even black streaks wash right off.
Note regarding head lights. My new Tundra owners manual says Do Not Wax headlights with car wax because the petroleum distillates will cause the plastic lens to fog. No more waxing the DP head light lens either.

I was in Sunriver Thousand Trails last summer and came upon a great little old lady that was 87 years young. She was using a battery powered buffer and an extension ladder to wash, prep and was her Dutch Star. If she can do it we all can do it. Her husband had passed away about two years previously and she was following his schedule. She said it helped her keep moving and gave her purpose. She said doing all the maintenance she could helped her spot potential problems. She said she had recently flushed her radiator and transmission. I asked her if she would marry me. She laughed out loud. Made my day to spend time with her.

I clean (wash) thoroughly, apply a "cleaner/wax" from Mother's using a random orbit variable speed buffer, after one section is done, I buff using the buffer and go on to the next section. Don't get wax or cleaner on the rubber or windows. I have bad feet and problematic knees, so I try to minimize trips up/down the ladder and it takes 2 or 3 days.

Yes, wash it, 1) use Mckees 37 liquid polish 2) use alcohol or computer screen cleaner to remove residue 3) use Mckees 37 Paint Sealant (nano-ceramic coating) and easily wipes off to a shine with microfiber towels. Lasts a few years, water just sheens off as well as dirt. You can do it, I’m 72 and with my 15 year old grandson did it over a 2 day fun experience!!!! Go on Amazon or Mckees site and watch the instructional videos

Yes. I wash and wax my 40' motorhome. I use a deionized water rinse system. The best wax I found is Wolfgang paint sealant. It goes on easy by hand and out lasts all waxes.

I do my own. Baby shampoo from dollar store in water and applied with a lambswool pad. We also carry a pressure washer and deionizer. After washing, either wipe down with Protect All or Spray n Shine. We just purchased Wash Wax All system to use when we cannot use water. Interested to see how this product does, know that alot seem to like it.
Have been using Mequair Rubber on tires but see that 303 has a tire balm product now. Has anyone used the 303 tire balm product? Supposedly it is not petroleum based.
