Will the weather is still not great in Louisiana, Texas and Alabama because of the hurrican. Now we are looking at Florida being (good chance)hit by hurrican hanna, so my question is were do you run now? The weather service shows Gustav possible heading north east thru Tennessee. Hanna is either going up the coast or thru Jacksonville and head north. So I am open for suggestions. I think that even as close as Alabama is full of folks from Louisiana. Your thoughts?

Michigan! No hurricans here. In all reality though once a hurricane gets a couple hundred miles inland, it's mostly just rain.

About 98% of Texas saw nothing from the hurricane . . . so maybe it would still be a good place to "run."

JAX, I am with you. We are heading out tomorrow and I don't even know where to!! Ms Carol wants to go to Charleston and eat seafood (at Shem Creek restaurant and some place downtown) I figure we can do that, but then may have to run from the Hanna beast heading north. I sure as heck don't want to be involved in the evacuation traffic typical of hurricane warnings on the coast.

I picked this time to come up to the manufacturer's in Red Bay, AL, to get a couple of warranty items fixed and some other stuff from wish list. It will probably take until the storms are gone or at least we have a pretty good where they are going.
