Webasto parts

I’m just letting everyone know my recent experience with Feroxon dba Heatso. I ordered a new 24 volt pump for my VanHool with the same model number. The pump immediately started leaking from the pump housing as soon as I installed it. Heatso refuses to honor the warranty. It’s a brand new part. New pumps aren’t suppose to leak. They are claiming it’s an incompatible application even though it’s the same model number. I just want the public to know about the poor customer service so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. I’m a motorcoach mechanic by trade and we will never do business with them again. I’m in the process of making repairs to our coach and doing a low budget party bus/rv conversion.

What was their excuse about the warranty?

They have some very eye opening reviews on trust pilot. Definitely will stay away from them. Sorry you were the one that got stung.

They said it was wrong application. Even if it was, a new pump isn’t suppose to start leaking immediately. After more correspondence with them and me letting them know I will be making everyone in the industry know about their shoddy service, only after that they agreed to give a refund once I send in the faulty pump. Things happen, it’s how it’s handled. Their customer service is very unprofessional.
