Website with Bank repo's RV's

Crankyape.com Bank repo rvs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, atvs, boats, trucks, trailers, go karts, jet skis, sleds, fourwheelers, trailers, motorhomes, rvs. . Anyone familiar with this site? Just googling RV's the other night and found this site. Seems to have a little bit of everything available at a bidding auction. Some of the prices are enticing but I'm sure one should do a hands on inspection of units. Like everything else some deals are to be had and some are bad. Just wondering if anyone on this forum was familiar with them? Thanks.

We know someone that bought a Country Coach from them and were pleased with the deal and the transaction process.

When we were shopping for an 'A', I kept an eye on CrankyApe over a six month period. Most of the units looked like they were treated badly and the owners (someone) had removed TVs, ovens and there were a few with the generators removed. Also, the mileage of MORE than a few had the odometers messed with...the numbers did not align with each other. Odometers are geared (the mechanical ones) and do NOT misalign unless messed with. The same thing with the LCD segments...I don't know what causes that, but the condition of the MHs just didn't match the low mileage showing. Use extreme caution here. I would not even consider one of their repossessions without a personal inspection. That's my take and MO. Bob

BTW, they did admit on several units that there was extensive water damage due to freezing...again, not without a personal inspection. I did call once about one unit, I got a run around and what info they did produce was sketchy at best. Personally, I think they do most of their selling to dealers that have the means to fix them up...watch the usernames of the bidders for a while, same bidders and winners.

There is one of the stores here in Valdosta, Ga. I stopped in one day just to browse and found that some where well abused and some were in great shape. I have bought cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. online without personally looking at first but not sure I could on and RV.
If anyone is interested in one here in Valdosta, I would be glad to stop by and go over it for you and maybe take pictures of certain things for you. I'm pretty anal guy, so I will look it over good just like I was buying it. Take Care all, Happy travels.
