Weldex Camera Mirror Image Help

I've just purchased a used DP that has a Weldex 7063-M rear view system. Driving the unit home I discovered that the rear camera image is reversed; items appearing on the left side are actually on the right side and vice-versa. Obviously this can be quite discerting when you expect something to pass you on one side and then it sneaks up on you on the opposite side.

This appears to be Mirror Image function of the system. The owners manual states the mirror image function is enabled/disabled using the remote. Unfortunately the remote didn't come with the unit. Does anyone know how to acees the Mirror Image functionality without the remote?

I sure hope someone can help me before I zig when I should zag!

Well, the 'DUH!' factor just stepped in! All I had to do was use the Menu selections on the monitor. Thanks to Weldex Technical Support for pointing that out. Now things that appear on the left are on the left (and vice versa).

See ya'

If the image looks like it would in your rear view mirror, the system is actually in Mirror Image mode. If you stand at a TV camera that is displaying in its normal mode on the monitor and look in the direction the camera's looking (aft), what's on your left (i.e., on the sidewalk side of your RV) will appear on the left of the monitor.

On my monitor there is a very small slide switch on the back side that switches from normal view to mirror view.
