what does "DH" and "DW" mean
ok.. I have been trying to think just what exactly these two terms mean? I know the h and w mean husband and wife but what does the "D" mean?

In the case of the husband, it's usually means "deaf" when the wife is speaking.

Actually, this site is better than many for not using too many acronyms. There are lots of Internet acronyms that get used (example: ROTFLMAO) but are not used here as much.
