What has happened to Sanidumps?

What has happened to Sanidumps?

It appears they have been bought out? And turned into a paid posting type website.

No more maps. No way to filter information. And the information that I can find does not seem to be very accurate. Only way to find anything is to search by city name.

Anyone have any information about what has happened and why it doesn't work anymore?

Looks like it sold. Still functions though, just no map. Maybe the paid version gets an interactive map ?

I just tried it and it wouldn't work in Firefox, but it works fine in Chrome, map and all.

What state did you choose to get the map to work in chrome?

Sanidumps Alternative

If your looking for an alternative way to find dump stations....try RV Dumps. Here is a link to the app store

I just entered my own zip code in NH.

However, I just tried it again and the behavior of the site is odd. When I entered my zip code and and pressed ENTER, it gave me a message that:
  • No details available for the selected location.
But, if I select the same location from the drop-down list, it works fine. I tried a bunch of random locations around the country and they all worked as well.

It still doesn't work in Firefox, but that may be due to an ad-blocker.

Thanks, I tried the RV Dump Stations on the App Store, but I can only find an Apple version, and I’m an Android guy.

I have been using multiple different sites to search for Dump Station locations. My go to sites to check include:

www.rvdumpsites.net – From the same group that does https://freecampsites.net/

www.rvdumps.com – They used to have a map based search, but that is gone now.

www.ioverlander.com – Has lots of other useful info, and is map based, and can be filtered.

www.loyalty.maverik.com/locations/map - Fuel station finder, but lots of Maveriks have dump stations.

www.sanidumps.com – Doesn’t work anywhere as well as it used to.

Other sites that might be helpful:

www.camperfaqs.com/rv-dump-station-map - New one I just found, but does have a map based search.

www.rvdumpstationsnearme.com/map/ - Another new one I found with map based search.

www.allstays.com – I have used to find sites, but it does have dump station info.

www.campendium.com – I have used to find sites, but it does have dump station info.

If you have others that work well, please add them to the list!

I had the RV Dump Sites app on my Android phone for several years, when I noticed recently that the app disappeared. I went to the Playstore and it didn't exist there anymore.
It does exist as a website still though. Oh well.
