What is this inthe slide out?

New MH owners here. We bought a 2004 Winnebago Itasca and when the slide is out we see this hanging there. It is a black rubber (thingy) that at one point was stappeled somewhere along the slide or the MH frame. There are staples in it but due to the tight space, I cannot tell where it was stapled. It has a plastic wrap around it and we are not sure if this will cause damage or not. What is it and what is it's purpose?

Thank you, Lynne

Look and see if it's the rubber seal for when the slide is in. It might have come off.

Dennis,

I think that is what it is. Any idea how to fix it since I don't fit in there? Will it cause the slide to fail o leak?

Thank You, Lynne
