To me it's taking my 86 27 foot winnie out and living as long as possible with no hookups. Just living with whatever the camper has and can carry.

Unhappy

Roughing it means running out of steaks, Jack Daniels and cigars all at the same time.

That's not roughing it, that's torture.

DW's idea of roughing it is only 30 amp electrical service and/or no at site sewer hook-up. Not getting satellite TV will do it too.

Roughing it is not having DW with me, I have no one to wait on me . That's really roughing it in my book. Jim

There was a time when my idea of roughing it was sleeping on the ground and cooking over the open fire. My last trip like that was 9 years ago when I took my nephew to northern NH on a photography expedition.

These days I consider roughing it to be without a 50 amp electrical hookup, no beer in the fridge for me and no dark chocolate for the DW.

Wife thinks it's in a full hookup site with 50 amp service and the satellite dish won't pick up her favorite shows!!

roughing it is having to much go wrong around the place and not getting to take the mh out but in a few weeks it'll all be better

Not being able to put the slide outs,
you can never have enough room when using the hot tub.
