I've been using Delorme's Map & Go version 7.0. It is working fine, but I am thinking about an upgrade. I have Delorme Street Atlas 2006, but I find it cumbersome and cannot find may campground. Here are my requirements:

I am not interested in GPS, so that is not part of my decision.
I want to be able to pick my starting and ending point and then pick campgrounds along the way based on distance (in miles) traveled.
I want to be able to change my route and see what the impact is on distance traveled between stops so that I can pick a different CG if necessary[/list]
So what do you use?

I have used 3 versions of the Trailer Life Campground Navigator, 2004, 2006 and now 2007. This program will do all you have asked for and more. My only complaint is when making some changes in your routing or selecting another campground, the revision process seems slow, but then I'm not very patient with software sometimes. I do like the program and all the features it offers.
One suggestion: buy it from Camping World for about 1/2 the price you can buy it on-line. I ordered in on-line first (about $50 w/shpg) and found it in CW the following weekend for about $25. Trailer Life refunded my on-line costs as soon as I returned the CD, so "no foul, no loss."
8/22 Addition: I also use MS Streets & Trips. I use it to locate other destinations for short trips in areas unfamiliar, and I prefer the printed map detail it provides. It may be a little bit easier to use for some functions, it does not have the campground information that Trailer Life has. Trailer Life provides the same info as is in the Directory. If you want to have access to up-to-date campground info as you map your route, Trailer Life is the best option, IMHO.

Microsoft Streets and Trips can do all those things you wanted and more.
Click on a start and end point and it will route you. Put in stops and it will take you on the route you want rather than the route the program picks for you. Click on the route and it will list all campgrounds ( in the system) along the route based on the distance you select. Such as 5 miles off I-75. It will show all CGs less than 5 mies from I-75. Also on the schedule, it will show you the miles to these CGs. Also, you can click on a town with a a radius you pick i.e., 25 miles and it will list all the CGs within that radius. I've had both systems and perfer MS. Maybe its just because I use it the most. It cost about $29 without the GPS and $89 with the GPS. Really like the GPS. It alerts you as you go down the road that a turn is coming up. s/Toby

We are using the Delorme 2008 also. Takes a little time to get used to all of the functions but it works well.

I've used Delorme's Street Atlas USA since version 3.0 (which came on floppies ). I liked 2004 the best. 2005 went downhill and they tried to fix it in 2006 but I still preferred 2004 better. I do have 2007 and it has more bells and whistles but I generally use my 2004 because the database is more inclusive. I haven't tried 2008 yet.

DriVer; That lucky guy was me. I am very happy with it. Much better than 2007 version.

I currently use Map and Go. I have Street Atlas 2006 but in my opinion it is not real helpfull. With Map and Go I can search for a campground and the plan my route to it. Street atlas seems to only works if I enter the street address of the campground. I don't want to spend that much money if 2008 works the same way.
