What equipment are you using to obtain that regulated pressure? (Sorry if you already mentioned it and I missed it.)

All the "tank" compressors I have owned had a built in regulator, for ones that don't an inline one can be purchased for less than $10 to well over $100.

Some posters have used their water regulators somehow .....although I have not researched that option to recommend it.

I use a 5 HP industrial Ingersol Rand compressor with an 80 gallon tank with a DeVilbiss air regulator which adjusts down to 10# or up to 75#. I also have an air dryer incorporated in the system.
I use the same compressor for my bead blast cabinet and my son's Vapor Blasting cabinet and anything else I need compressed air for. Each of those units has it's own regulator.
Cheaper regulators will do the job for blowing out water lines but I have had the equipment for several years at my home garage.
(no apology necessary)

Key word being "Water" I wouldn't want to feed high pressure into a water regulator. You might get by safely with a cheap pancake type compressor but there is a reason one is a "Water" pressure regulator while the other is an "Air" pressure regulator.
I would hate to see a water pressure regulator fail and allow full compressor pressure to enter my RV's water system. You'd be farther ahead buying the tool to do the type job it was designed to do.
