Tail light lens base clip snapped so the base wouldn't hold the lense anymore. I threaded a plastic tie-wrap between the base and RV outside wall and then through lense to hold it tight to base. Nice and tight now!

Windshield, chip turned into large crack traveling across AZ desert. Scheduled for replacement on Thurs.

Don your latex gloves and run your finger around the lip of the rubber seal that seals the toilet ball to clean any debris like TP etc that gets trapped in the seal. With your foot on the pedal to hold the ball open of course. Water running is also good.
Then, shut the water off, put a little dab of O Ring Lubricant on that finger and work the lube all the way around the seal. Vasoline will also work but O Ring Lube is the best.
My favourite maintenance task.

Thanks for the tip - I did work on it a little the other day and got the valve to close at least. The problem is definitely calcification from the water as I found it hard to get that stuff off around the rubber seal. I didn't have any lubricant so that's my next task. Then I'll make sure the valve works as it should. Thanks again.

And yes, this needs to be on the annual list of things to do...

Spent part of day, with my expert at everything friend, diagnosing an Atwood propane furnace which would not do anything at all. We had to test all the circuits and finally take the loom of wire out of the back of the thermostat. We found a very slightly corroded trigger wire connection in the connector. It was 41 degrees in the NC mountains last week!
