I told them my F53 460 was now a 528 stroker with about 550 Ft lbs. of torque at the fly wheel. Supposedly they built a transmission to match. I ordered a 1300-1500 RPM torque converter and they sent a 2800 RPM converter. No way of knowing that until the tranny was in and I run the test. We are still working on a fix for their mistake.
Total fees, including shipping both ways, was a few pennies under $3000.00.

"Total fees?" meaning that's what you paid for the transmission et al? Heckuva deal there. A "Certified" heavy duty "towing" unit from Transtar is double that just for the transmission itself.
Monster doesn't have the best reputation as far as warranty issues but they aren't that bad either.
Your timing was very good though. For some reason the price of many reman truck transmissions just went up $1000-1500 like overnight and across many vendors/rebuilders. No explanation as to why yet.

I purchased 2 LF9009 oil filters on amazon for $21 each. Was shipped the newer upgraded version https://amzn.to/3xTh6VI $21 was a great price for the LF9009, but it seems to be an incredible price on the LF14009NN For my ISL Cummins.

I wonder if what I got was a fluke....or is that all anyone has now.. -Bill

Sidewinder sewer hose holder. Love it! Also expandable sink tub and dish drying rack from Amazon. Even my husband does dishes now 😁

Progressive Dynamics converter. Didn't really need one but the old Magnetek bothered me. It hummed ALL the time, and it sits in the compartment directly under my pillow basically. Tended to overcharge the batteries a bit. Lastly it put out a LOT of heat. Whenever I was plugged in I left at least one compartment door slightly open for ventilation.

Now I've discovered my transfer switch hums. Didn't realize that before, I guess it was always drowned out. Happily it's very low and I can't hear it inside the coach. The Progressive unit has a fan. Come summer I guess I'll see how loud it is. Right now it doesn't even buzz, hum or anything. Checking with a multimeter over the last few days, it seems to be doing a better job of battery charging too. Multiple wins.

George Schweikle - We purchased ours in September 2021. Sounds like you're as impressed and delighted as we are. One of the best purchases we've made for the old gal. As our signature shows, our 454 Vortec 7.4L reaelly responds and performs now. Hey, everyone with a gasser, if you can save up for it and you drive a lot, you should consider the UltraPower ECM replacement.

Is UltraPower ECM available - for - 1995 tbi 454 Chevy engine? Our 1996 RV must have had a leftover 1995 tbi 454 installed... in 96 tbi was discontinued - from what I know. She runs perfect with only 39K miles and great service record.

Anyway, I can't locate an UltraPower ECM for our 454 tbi Chevy motor... thought you might know where to look; if there is one even available??

Thanks for any assistance you may provide.

We got ours from Brazilís in Dec 2017 and are pleased with the result.

Our last purchase was a bin door fabricated by manufacturer to replace the one sliced open by an electric gate that closed unexpectedly. That and 6 new bin door latches.
