If anyone knows of a plug tool that makes removing and tightening the hot water heater plug easier and/or faster, I'm all eyes and ears at this moment.

I use just a plain old socket and extension.

I got tired of pulling the plug every time I wanted to drain the tank, so here's my solution.
90 degree brass elbow, 5 inch long SS nipple and a SS ball valve. Cut a hole for the nipple to run through and put the ball valve on the bottom where it's easy to reach.

I wish a tank was only $100.
I get to add another $50+ on the second transaction...

We have a relatively small B+/C with a 24.5 gallon tank that gets about 17 mpg. Since I fill up somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 I am usually getting 10-16 gallons. Hence the smaller price tag.
If I had a large A I would probably be traveling less, given today's diesel prices.

We did a 6500mi trip end of June/beginning of July. THAT hurt at probably 5.50/gal (high of $6.80) and probably 11mpg. Got laid off the day after we got back, too. Good times!

Summer project time! Whoo-hoo!!! New entry door edge seal and hold open mechanism, new lower slide seal, two new solar panels, and a new Whale 6 gallon hot water heater. Replacing the slide seal and swapping out the hot water heater were two fun projects, NOT! I'm not as flexible as I used to be. :^(

I just picked one of these Extend A Stays. https://amzn.to/3T4rofZ
Not for adding an extra propane bottle. (but would be useful if we ever needed to stay somewhere its cold)
I bought it to plumb in a quick connect to be able to run our grill or maybe a propane outdoor fireplace if my DW talks me into buying one of those. I watched a few Youtube how to videos on the subject and the RVGeeks one is the best of them. Especially the part about adding another Regulator to keep the pressure in the extension line to 15 psi so as not to have the oily build up in the appliance downstream regulator! No other one mentioned that issue/feature.
-Bill
PS. We are in Montana right now, and Amazon doesn't charge tax there. Nice!
