Ghostman (and others): The headlight pods on my 1999 Itasca Sunflyer fogged on the inside. After I was lucky to find a new set on line and have them installed, I found the solution to the interior fogging. I removed the bulbs from the old ones, poured in some non-viscous macho cleaning fluid of some type (married into it, don't know what it was or where it came from but I suspect and non-sudsing soap would do -- laundry detergent?) and turned the hose loose into them, rinsed with the bulb hole down until the spray was clear -- good as new. I'm keeping them for spares in case I get a rock through one of the new ones.

Bought a pair of LED neon pink flamingos. Saw them and just had to have them. 12volt and 110volts. Have one in the front window now.

We had Koni shocks put on while at the Freightliner shop for our annual maintenance. Wow, what a difference! She drives a lot smoother, and the inevitable pot holed roads from an upper Midwest winter don’t jerk her around as much. Nice upgrade.

What was the last thing you bought for your RV ?

Went over to pick up the coach from storage yesterday only to find the right rear inner tire flat. I tried airing it up but found the air was coming out almost as fast as I could put it in. Thankfully there is a truck tire shop next door to the storage lot so I drove it over there to have them take a look. They found the braided valve stem extension had failed at a crimped joint. It was probably 15 years old. So end result they changed out the valve stems and added new solid extensions to both rear inners. I’m a lot more comfortable with this setup. Never was completely comfortable with the braided lines. I’m just so thankful it failed now while I’m storage Instead of at a campsite or while rolling down the road.

New power cable make plug, floor guards for my driver side slide, visor programmer, and a memory foam mattress pad. Plus way to many items to list. Always buying something it seems.

The refrigerator access panel had turned yellowish and the graphics were peeling so we got a replacement and added a message to it. Unfortunately the graphic stripe next to it is alligatoring pretty badly.

Lady-o-My-Life and I who have never actually "lived together".. we spend most of our time together, but have maintained separate residences since meeting almost 20 years ago.. we have two cats who adore each other, love to be together in the coach. Again, we spend a LOT of our time together but we're back and forth and back and forth, keep the cats together, you keep yours, I take mine, load up the perishable foods, bring em back after the stay...

PHEW!!!!!!!

So, what we're PLANNING on buying for the coach is... a brand new house with an attached motorhome garage so we can all live together under the same roof!

Kitties, US, toys and our magic carpet motorcoach!

Wish me luck pulling this one off!

Anyone have WAG of build cost of these wonderful beasts? Less land, of course, and area specific obviously would have to be considered..

Prolly new thread fodder here but, the darn coach is the primary driver for wanting to do this, so I guess its still relevant. LOL
Advice willingly accepted!

I know you feeling staying at home is costing me money. Spending way to much on a camper and not using it enough. LOL
Saying bye bye to Roy boy and his mess for now. Heading out for a good while in a few days. Hope you get out soon too.

RV Camping “Essentials”

3 wishlist items:

1. A decent fire poker 🔥
2. Poker chip set
3. A little folding stool for outside the entry door (to put shoes on/off)

Nothing left on my “nice to have” list. Until the next trip (which seems more and more possible with COVID easing up!)
