Those Ram trucks are really built! My pickup is also my toad, '97 Silverado half ton, my buddy has a newer Ram half ton, every single thing about his truck is heavier than mine!

Great when your truck is the burro, not so much when it's the other way round LOL!!

NICE looking rig, there are some things about the Ram that truly makes them special other than just the heavy duty aspect. I believe they all have rack and pinion steering, major cool there! Happy for you!

We got lucky with a lightweight 5ver to learn with. And actually would like this one to last and will spend some money to do so.

Most newer 5ver toyhaulers are at least 2000 pound heavier than out current one. So I bought a 3500. We usually buy used, and now we have some more options.

Bought a second Basement Tray. No idea why i waited soo long. The most amazing part was it showed up at my house 3 days after ordering it! https://amzn.to/2YQAdyU

Simple install, just put the whole unit into the bay, adjust it on the floor so when it slides out on both side it doesn't hit the door or frame and screw it down by sliding it back from each side. I've included some pics. The pallet it came on was the largest I have ever seen, about 8' long.

I can see with so deep an area that a slide out basement tray is damn near requires. Too bad it eats up some cubic feet storage dimension. Love that pallet!! LOL

Bounder repaint

I know this is from a few years back, but thought I would post.
These are the before/after photos of our 2002 Bounder 33-R. My wife and I were never really enthused about the 'swirly' appliques/decal schemes. They and the gel-coat were showing signs of age, so we decided a change was warranted. My wife designed the new scheme, so removed the decals and had a local shop do the work to implement the new scheme with really good automotive paint and quite a few coats of clear.
I think it turned out great....

A whole new hitch. Started with an EZ Hitch. Spent hours and days and sweat, tears over that thing. Finally got it just right per the truck axle ratings, but the L brackets kept getting pushed back by the spring bars. Then on sharp turns the spring bars fell off the L brackets and dragged. That was the end. I bought a brand name Equalizer Hitch. Works great.

I have full across access but my slides only go about 3/4 of the way. Kind of OK because my stacking tool box fits OK within the area on the other side of the coach where the slide isn't...

All things considered, I think I'd give up the few inches of height on the backside bay to get the convenience of not having to bend over under the sliders...

Certainly a reasonable price! Thanks fofr the link.
