If you have any problems with your hands, this is a worthwhile modification.
Happy camping, Ron

I recommend not throwing out the old door knobs for a while until you're sure they will work ok for you.

I put a lever handle on the door in our house leading to the garage and discovered that Murphy (from Murphy's Law) absolutely loves it when it snags laundry bags, shirt cuffs, and even belt loops.

Considering the tight quarters in an RV, this could be a potential problem for you.

All new pex from under the kitchen sink up to the ice maker which, yes, I had to pull the fridge out for that one, new bathroom faucet and new pex, and new auto steps. Lot's of work. But the pex was just wearing out at the joints and there's nothing you can do but tear it out and replace it. The steps were working off and on with the help of a hammer. Got tired of that. Saving up my money for future projects!

Thanks, but I never throw anything away anyway. But, so far so good. When we remodeled our house 6 yrs ago, we went to all lever handles and yes there is that occasional snag, but DW says with arthritis, it's worth it. Ron

We had a 50 amp outlet added to the garage for our newer to us coach. Then bought a 50’ 50 amp extension cord for the times we want to pull into a site. Hopefully we will never come up short.

Not just door knobs. ANYTHING you're replacing in the house or RV, don't throw it out. Give it to Habitat for Humanity (or other such organization). They'll make good use of "anything household" that's in good condition.

Solar panels, Under carriage lights and gas struts for the cargo bay doors. I also finally got the console wired up and put lights in the compartments on it. Switch installed right on the left side to turn lights off on the console. These provide just enough light in the footwell area at night as well.

Also got one of these a couple days ago

For ease of dumping at home, rather than trench from the pad to the nearest line to the septic tank. I made provisions for it, but if I don’t need to make that connection right away, all the better.

Circling back on this - I am ordering 2 more after an interesting adventure over the weekend. Some friends came through my area and were staying at the local state park - I went to visit them for dinner and s'mores. While we were hanging around the fire the 5th wheel in the next space over had a water heater fire. I got the extinguisher from my car and got the water heater put out. This extinguisher is awesome! Fan.
