Usually this time of year all the RV traffic is headed north to home.

If you can see the license plate, that should tell you if its owned or being transported. Stay away from NW Arkansas for now. Ice, wrecks everywhere today, low of 5 not counting wind chill come this Sunday... Geez I'm ready for spring and camping !!!!!

I'm really surprised no one has stated the obvious, they're escaping "global warming."

Came across this late last year. Apparently, a cold winter was foecasted by NASA.
From NASA's report "solar radiation from CO2 and Nitrous Oxide in the earth’s atmosphere show how the sun’s energy is absorbed by the upper layers and contribute to the earth’s temperature. The sun appears to be entering a solar minimum that means that the absorbed radiation is decreased and the result will by global cooling".

They also stated in 2003 that the same sun spot activitycould result in global warming.

Just returned from BBNP. Spring-like all through Texas, and most of Oklahoma. It looked like MANY deliveries going south on the interstates. We finished the last leg back in a snowstorm. (yep, home.)

According to The Weather Channel, here in the Pacific N.W. we was suppose to be above normal for temperatures. That didn't pan out to well, and now for the month of March, below normal temps. Yep, it's cold for here this morning, 23F. And I just checked on cell phone what the night temps are suppose to be and most all are below 32F for next 2 weeks.
We missed going to AZ this winter but after watching their temps, until now, pretty cold down there for that area. South Texas and Florida has been warmer overall than AZ. I'm still feeling the urge to get going though, LOL. I think NOW, would be a good time to head to AZ, highs around 80F.
Oh well.

Out of the 28 days in February, 14 were over 80 here in central FL. There were zero days in the 60s.
We keep our RV in a storage facility that is also used by one of the bigger dealers in the area. Twice in the last week, I have had to wait in a line of deliveries just to get in the gate. Never seen this before. Maybe bad weather up north caused a backlog that is now being relieved.

All that cold weather has pushed everyone south. Large population here in FL. In 80s mostly. A/C on.
Laughing at my family in IL, MN, and WI. Mostly in single digits. They almost ran out of Nat. gas.
Next year, S. TX. or AZ.

People are coming to their senses. If you have the means to get away from what's been going on weatherwise, why wouldn't you? -Paul

We are in sunny south west Florida for the winter. It's been a bit unseasonably warm here. We've already had upper 80s a few times. But on average have been running between 75º - 85º in February. I'm not complaining one bit considering what the rest of the country has been getting.
Yesterday, March 1st, our RV park had 60 RVs checking IN. I don't know how many left, the front desk didn't tell me that.

If they are heading for AZ or FL it’s Spring Training time. I’m in Surprise a suburb of Phoenix and my RV Park said they had about 30 rigs come in just on Fri March 1st. Baseball is back.
