What's the one thing?

Two part question.

What's the one thing you've hauled around but never used?

What's the last thing you hauled around but decided to leave at home this trip?

A case of spare floor tiles... there is 8 of them and they are very heavy. Should I only keep a couple, or any of these?

Left the blackstone grill home last trip. Rarely use anymore since we got the air fryer. The blackstone is too much work cleaning up.

I think that's gonna take 1st prize. Hope that's what you decided to leave at home on the last trip. Were you thinking that if you loose an axle, you'll have a spare to whoop it on. I think that's the one thing, I would have never brought.

We FTd for 7 yrs.
At first we loaded up items we KNEW we Needed
Then items we THOUGHT we needed
Then items we just could NOT leave

6 months later: Just like the Conestoga Wagons going West
We got rid of:
Many items we really didn't NEED
Many items we THOUGHT we needed but didn't
Few items we couldn't part with stayed

Basics is really all that is NEEDED
I can open any compartment, cabinet, drawer, closet and SEE what is in it W/O having to dig thru/unload stuff

I get a kick out of those weekend campers that show up on Friday Night
Kids run off exploring, Wife goes inside and begins setting up, Hubby starts unloading STUFF
LOTS of STUFF ....most of which never gets touched or used
Then Sunday while Kids are out exploring, WIfe inside putting things away Hubby is trying to pack all of that STUFF back in scratching hos head WHY>>>>>

LESS is MORE
1 Bag IN=2 Bags OUT!

Weekend boondocker here. Since it’s just me going out, I could probably go out with just about nothing. Too many chairs, a Weber I seldom use since I piggy back off of my partners and more kitchen utensils than I know what to do with.

60 gallon water bladder. Used it a lot while boating at anchor.

Sawzall, and I needed it this trip.

1. Two patio rugs...DW thinks we need them, then they never come out of storage, when they do, they blow away. And she seldom sits outside...just to ....windy, sunny, cloudy, buggy, something.
2, Tire covers. They go when we spend the winter in the south. Other times we don’t stay in one place but a few days (we are part timers).
3. Water softner. Same reason as tire covers
4. Electric fireplace, same as tire covers.

As you can probably tell by now....we are really loaded when we leave for the winter ( after the plague passes)

I carry my 12 ton bottle jack and 2 - 12 ton jack stands. They're heavy. I've never used them and hope I never do, but I'll probably keep hauling them with me.
