Hi Pati (rosefanatic) and Linda (Windy),
We all sign on to this forum because we love RVing, and because we can learn from each other. Plus I think over the winter we really have withdrawal from this life style we love. Pati, good luck with your travels. This is the time to learn just how much you are capable of, and I think we all know that women can be pretty strong. I see lots of women on this group are the main operators of their respective RVs, ask them for pointers, I'm sure they'll share. And Linda, I'm also glad you will be here to add to the information "bank" you can find on this site. I come here every time I have a question, and I am the one in our family who is doing the reading and asking. My husband is a hunt and peck kind of typist and I guess he gets frustrated. When I get answers for our questions I usually print them off or drag him to the computer room to read the information. We've both learned a lot here.
Good luck.
Kay from CNY

My wife and I were lucky because we have a DSL connection in our home and it allows us to have two separate E-mail accounts so when we go the same site we can both have our separate accounts and names. I am retired and she still works but I think she will be posting more than I do once she is retired too.

thanks Kay for the "vote of confidence". My 36" Bounder finally sold and I jumped right in and bought a new 33V Adventurer. Should be ready sometime next week. I went to the
RV dealer so many times to drive different models, lengths, ect. that they decided that I really didn't want to buy one, I just had a fetish about driving them.......... I did learn alot about driving them that way.
Looking forward to my 1st trip. My oldest daughter and her 15 year old son will go along.

Looking for more "coachhold" "household" tips. Great idea's are out there, we just need to find them.

Well, I don't have a hubby, so GreyhoundMama is always me. Hm, unless my dogs learn how to type. Uh oh. Better power it off and hide it away when I'm not around!!! LOL

My dh started posting on a popup camping forum a couple of years ago as Winchester. When I found out I got hooked too. So through natural progression I became Winchesterette (Win-ette for short).

Better late than never, I always say. Well, I'm SandyFeet, but my hubby calls me Marianne. We live near the beach and vacation in the desert. SandyFeet is no joke.

We have a Weekend Warrior Toyhauler, boondock on BLM land and ride dirtbikes and ATVs with family. And, of course, we stick to established trails.

I'm in the looking stage...husband refuses to travel unless we have an RV cause he dislikes motels...I like to visit our son near Chicago.

I need one that I can drive as he is getting older and I don't really trust his driving very much.

We will probably get an older Class C unless I can find a Class A that I can drive.

This thread needs a revival!

My name is Vicky.
It's just me & the Staffy dog now that my Bill is gone.
He loved motorcycles. I loved RVs.
He liked hotels. I wanted to camp.

Unfortunately I am no longer the "Co-Pilot".
Nice to meet you girls.
