Good afternoon: We travel a lot with our grandchildren (ten). This summer we get a break, only eight. Virginia to Florida for about three weeks. With the kids we try to be off the road by 4 or 4:30. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. We try to call ahead starting about 2 - 2:30 to check out what is available. We have never run into a real problem. Yes we have had to settle for less than what we wanted but after 100,000 +/- miles and some 200 nights give or take a few, we have lucked out as the saying goes. The campgrounds have always been most helpful. I know that when we open the doors and the kids fall out we get some

looks. three hours in the morning 9-12 and three in the afternoon 1-4 is a good day. Take care be safe and enjoy.
