You need to monitor the weather at the Canyon real close, if a front moves in, it can be nice until your within 25 miles or so. I know, it took 3 days to clear up last year (first of March) plus fog can move into the Canyon and not in the surrounding area.
The Canyon can make its own weather pattern to some extent.
Quite honestly, I had problems getting actuate weather condition's from the Canyon sources.
