The best as far as I'm concerned is a paste wax, preferably pure Carnuba wax. Save up and have it applied with a buffer or a Dual Action buffer as it penetrates the paint/clear coat much better than "wax on and wax off" Any decent brand of car wash shampoo will work to initially clean the rig.

Something to remember, a second coat goes on MUCH easier than the first. And a second coat will give you a lot more protection and longevity. Best of luck!

Nu Finish....not a wax, it's a polymer.....lasts a year, isn't expensive, and just use car wash soap...and it can be applied by hand....comes in either liquid or paste..I use the paste...Com'on now, body old, but mind isn't!....

Since you're in Florida and probably want to only have it done once a year then do it late spring/summer. The summer heat is tough on vehicles.
