Where are the good RV Loan Rates?

Been waiting for about 2 years to pull the tirgger on a Travato KL.

Now, is as good a time as any.

I'm about to look around locally at places I've used in the past for rates.

Are there any other ways I can land a great rate and length of loan. I want to go as long term as possible and have the option of a short payoff if able.

Credit rating is exceptional

If you're a vet, try USAA. Great numbers and we had an exceptional experience.

We used southeast bank and it was great. All online and 5.9 for 144 months.

Rates have dropped a little bit this week.

We just got 4.49% from US Bank through the dealer on our new Class A.

Remember, the interest rate is negotiable.

Especially if you have excellent credit.

Best of luck on your purchase!

Crap!!

After lining up all my ducks with insurance quote, rate, price, I just happened to mention that the coach was in Texas and I'm from Michigan using my local lender. The agent says, oh, we can't finance an out of state purchase due to possible sketchy title problems that could arise....

Lovely...

Are there lenders that do out of state financing?

We just bought an out of state trailer and got 3.2% rates at Mountain America Credit Union. The majority of it was done online but we did go into a branch to do the final signing of paperwork because there was a branch 3 miles from where we bought our trailer.

I got a horrible rate for my latest little TT. Didn't matter. It wasn't expensive ( 11K) and I'm paying it off way ahead of the set schedule.

Edit...I got horrible terms. The rate was great but the loan length was long. And as said, it didn't matter if it's paid off early.

The Feds just lowered rates but it problems has not affected RV loans yet. Try calling Bank of the Ozarks, I got a good rate from them 3 years ago, 5.5%. Make sure that there is no prepayment penalty and you can pay it off anytime before the maturity date.

There online places that will shop for you, and many other banks and credit unions that will show you their current loan rates without you having to fill out a credit app. If you know where you'd fall on the rating scale then you can get an idea of what your loan rate would be.
I got my loan through the place where I bought my RV, but by then I'd shopped around and I knew the current loan rates and I knew where I would be on the scale. Based on that I knew whether or not the dealer was giving me a good rate - they were.
Like Tx above, my loan is through Bank of the Ozarks.

Easy through the dealer and will most likely pay off in 3-4 years so the 20 year thing did not faze me.
