Where did you purchase
Looking over the classified section on here got me wondering of all those adds has anyone purchased a motorhome from this site? The classified section shows a number of sales but doesn't list what sold.

If you go to the individual classifications (such as Class A motorhomes) and scroll through the listings, you can see "SOLD" on some of them in the "Price" column. Class A Motorhomes - RV & Motorhome Classifieds

Learned of the floorplan and model we wanted. Searched and watched the internet for one within striking distance (~500 miles). Found one in the Bay area advertised one one of the classified ad sites. Opened a dialog with the seller - bought it.

Did the same. Made two trips (800 miles round trip) to the dealer working up the sale, third trip brought the coach home and life hasn't been the same since. The search took six months. Dealer only sold used coaches and nothing else. My coach was a bank repo and I paid well below NADA and my less than my planned budget but I'm sure the dealer still made a good profit.

Sweetbriar - do you recall the name of the dealer and location? We've been looking locally since ours was totalled and the pickings are slim for a Class C in our price range.

Pray for us, we've got two days to look around Lazy Days late next week. Sure hope the wife doesn't do anything stupid. Or is it that she's hoping that I . . .

I went out one Saturday to buy a MH. I looked at 10 at two dealers and the Sea Breeze was the only one I didn't find something I didn't like. Things like how the bathroom door opened, basement latches that had to be held open to close them, priced because of the brand, etc. They somehow thought a Monaco that was falling apart was worth more, just because it was a Monaco. I went home, looked at the online pictures of the ones I looked at and made an offer on my Breeze. The owner countered and I owned a MH. This was all in about 6 hours.
The reason I bought one is because I got tired of having to unload my toy hauler just to have a place to sit down. Now, I just pull in, turn the key off and pop a top. With my 20' enclosed, I can unload my toys later.

First rig I bought from a private owner 20 miles away after seeing an ad in the local paper. I stalked it in his drive for a couple of months before finally called to get some info with a follow up call to look at. Made offer a week later. Second moho, just purchased and took delivery from a local dealer August 17 after a long process that started last November or so looking to upgrade year etc.
