Where is my air filter gauge/indicator?

I've been driving my 2008 Fleetwood Revolution 42K (Cummins engine on Spartan Chassis) through fire smoke (not ash) and I am getting a check engine light that resets once I stop for a while. I suspect my air filter which has not been changed for 2 yrs. Where can I find my air filter gauge/indicator to check it? I found fuel filter and hydraulics in a side compartment behind right rear tire and I checked the engine compartment, but can't find my air filter.

If you have a filter minder it will be plumbed into the air intake system between the filter and the intake manifold or turbo.

In my case they remote mounted the filter minder and used a piece of hose to attach it to the air intake pipe between the filter and the turbo. Pretty easy to spot.

I would look close to where you access the engine to check oil and fluids. It may be hiding in plain site.

If the air filter is that old, it would be a good idea to replace it, whether or not there is any indicator. You do not want dirt to be drawn through and into the engine. And if the fuel filter is more than a year old, get it changed too.

It will look like this, Cummins says not to change the air filter until this unit indicates to change. This is because every time the filter connections are disturbed it offers another chance for a air leak, which is disastrous to a diesel engine.
