This does not apply to those of you that live in areas of year round sun. Please do not respond that you don't winterize, you use yours, etc. etc. I don't want to hear it! (Jealousy is such an ugly emotion!)

Went out to exercise the generator. Plugged in a couple of electric heaters, for load. Then turned on the TV and got to watching one of the playoff games. Then had a beverage (adult). Then found myself looking through drawers, cabinets etc. Watched the game, did some spring cleaning, had a beverage (okay, a couple of them), and exercised the generator. Great couple of hours. Now I'm all ready to go (probably around March) and don't have to do anything but load her up and hit the road.

I just realized that spring cleaning the RV is probably one of the very (!) few things that I don't procrastinate on.

I never thought of using that run time for watching the game! Good going. ( I can make believe I am cleaning too!)

Hi All,

Ok yes I admit it, when I miss RVing in the winter I go out start the Gen. watch some TV make a snack in the micro, go through stuff, tighten screws, and pretend I am somewhere other then the side yard !!! If I am lucky enough to have the snow stay away long enough, to get up and out of the yard, I will even get her out for a ride, you know about 2 hours or so with a break in the middle for a meal sitting by a stream, go for a hike in the woods, or something like that !!
Wow can't believe it is still January, guess it will be a long winter !!!!!

Usually in the winter I only plug it in once a month for battery charging but with the nice weather, like today, I spent some time in it installing an XM radio. What a great feeling!

42 days till Spring
