I always try to give a wave and feel slighted if no wave in return. It just feel like it is in respect to another RV'er the thing to do.

Just know that I'm waving in spirit. My DW won't let me take a hand off the wheel .

Try traveling across New York State on Rt 11 it will let you take a hand of the wheel since it is a nice relaxing ride at 55 MPH. When your up there stay a few nights in some of New York State Parks they are great and there on route. Robert Moses , Wellsley Island at 1000 Island bridge is the best. I will be waving!!!! Have a safe trip where ever you travel!!!

I too am a waiver and often get a wave in return, what I have been surprised at is the number of truckers who no longer flash me in or return a thank you when you flash them in.

I'll wave, but I'm too ugly to flash anyone.

I waved one day and the other guy must have been lazy because he only used his middle finger to wave back. True story. He must have had a bad day. :-):-):-)
But I do wave but in the last few years I get fewer and fewer (meaning less) friendly returns. Motor cycles give me the wave a lot but it may be my Vet Plates also. I get waves and give waves to fellow Vets,

New to the RV scene but have been waving to others on the road since I got behind the wheel in April this year (not FTyet). I received my first return waves yesterday while driving to and from the waste water plant to dump for winterizing. Felt good to be acknowledged by fellow RVers. In the campground is a different story, there everybody waves whether you are walking, driving or sitting at my campsite.

I wave, the DW and I always laugh at the ones that don't wave back. Just like on my bike I almost always give a wave.
One good thing about it, if you don't wave back no biggie to me you already had to see me wave and see my big Smile!
Most truckers flash me back, after I figured out I had to hold the ICC switch for a second and not flash my lights to fast that they don't see it.

I agree, When we have my wife's Corvette out, others Vette owners almost always wave.
On two lane roads with our MH I try to wave to all MHs we meet. When we first bought a MH 20+ years ago this seemed to be a more common practice.

Ok so not being a snob or anything but what's with the waving anyway? I rode for near 40 years and didn't understand it then either. I mean ya wave at another rider, you might as well wave at the car guys which segways into waving at the truck guys, then the boat guys, then the rv guys so you might just as we'll wave at everyone. Then you get in an accident cause your hands are never on the wheel, see where this going? Just sayin
