Afternoon,
Just filled up at Murphy's (Wal Mart)in Evansville, IN for $3.88 a gallon.
Think I'm gonna go get every gas can I can round up and maybe even put in an underground storage tank.
Just kidding of course but isn't it strange when we think 3.88 a gallon is getting down there?

We were in British Columbia where gas was $151.9 per liter or $5.75 per gallon. When we found gas in Washington state for $4.11 I found myself in the same position. Never thought I would be happy to find $4 plus a gallon gas.

Hi Letsgoagain,
Did you buy fully taxed or tax exempt fuel. In Indiana, some pumps include the taxes and some do not. It is confusing for me, coming from another state.

GaryKD,
It was fully taxed. It does get confusing. Along the interstates and other highways you will see a sign advertising the price but when you pull in you find that price is usually the one the truckers pay that is tax exempt as you said.
The diesel I bought was at a Wal Mart station. Listed at $3.91 a gallon but of course I went in and got a gift card to give me three cents off.
I was glad to see it at that price as I usually fill the tank as I'm coming back in town from a trip. Last one we didn't as it was getting late when we arrived and it has sat for the last month with probably a little over a quarter tank. I'm good to go now. Hope the price keeps dropping.

Unfortunately it will probably not continue to drop. Oil has gone up $8.00 a barrel in the last three days.
