Why I Like iRV2

I subscribe/belong to 3 RV forums, of the 3 iRV2 is hands down the best.

75,000+ members means active threads and comments. One of the other forums has 1 or 2 new threads per week. Where iRV2 has a quick link to "Today's Posts" the could a link to this months posts.

Lots of really nice people here willing to share and help. Sure there are one or two here that only seem to make negative comments, some people just like being miserable. Thats not bad out of 75,000+. Some of the non RV forums I follow have some real God like know it alls that love to point out just how wrong you are, none of that here.

Quick answers to questions.

Wide variety of topics. Always something interesting to read and learn.

81 different forum sections.

Forum navigation is simple, clean and effective. One of the other forums I visit not so much, when I click on a thread it will take you to the middle or the end or the beginning you just never know what to expect.

No status issues among the members. No one cares how old your RV is (until it's a classic then we want pictures), how big it is, how much it cost, etc... a RV is a RV.

New members section let's everyone introduce themselves.

The User Control Panel is easy to use and understand.

Fair moderators, let us have a bit of latitude with our posts.

And it's all free.

I look forward to my daily fix of iRV2. Check the others weekly.

Just my 2 cents.

We have grown a lot over the years and our moderators and administrators have worked hard to make it the best RV website on the internet. Thank you for your comments.

I was very new to this and started out on other forums and was about ready to say the heck with it, when one of the members from TN suggested I try this site. I have learned so much. The best part tho is the new friendships!! I have not gone back to any of the previous sites. I like that the moderators step in before some of the people get out of control.

I agree, there is a Great group of people here. NOW with that being said, I cut my teeth over on RV.net, Ive attended many local Rallies over there and have met lots of Super people. I, too, frequent all the major Forums and have yet to come across a "group" of people that have not been helpful and willing to share info. Im hoping to attend "gatherings" from this Forum too at some point so I guess that makes me a "free spirit" lol and/or very sociable.
OK....so not to take away from this thread, I also like this Forum very much!!

I like the DIY attitude here.
The place I used to go, the standard answer to any tech question was "you better call the Guy"
I never call the guy, I am the guy.

I don't want to knock rv.net because I learned a whole lot about my old motorhome there, but they seem as a whole to be more "modern" than my budget. I like the fact that irv2.com has a whole forum dedicated to vintage motorhomes which I fit in quite well. I've gained a lot and hopefully have delivered some help. I like it here!

When I began my search for a motor home I did an exhaustive online search (via Google) for information on RV manufacturers, buying tips, first time buyers, PDI's etc. etc. And when the Google search results were shown IRV2 always came out at the top of my Google search results with the most results and the most info!

There simply is no reason to go elsewhere for RV information, IRV2 is :"Best in Class"
