Will the Camco exhaust vent covers clear an automatic exhaust vent?

I have one of these (see picture) which opens the vent window and turns on the fan automatically.

Only problem is it lets a lot of light in and warms up the trailer.

If I purchase a black Camco cover (or similar) will it allow the motor to run the vent window up all the way without hitting the cover?

I put fans and vents in all my roof openings. Spring and fall, they do a good job cooling down. Also when its all closed up and getting ready to hit the road.

I put them on all (both) vents on my 24-footer, and one is black the other white. The black one works GREAT.

The white one is right above the bed, so it lets too much light through, waking the DW too early, interrupting her beauty sleep. So she had to fabricate a "curtain" out of velcro and a dark hand towel.

The first day I was in this 5er, it got REALLY HOT, and I realized that the 3 vents and the sunroof in the shower were letting in WAY too much sunlight and heat. So I tinted the shower sunroof, which has helped a great deal. Now I want black covers for the vents.

I happened across Fan-Tastic vent covers, same brand as the vent I have posted in post #1, so I purchased three to be shipped this week. This should darken out our light intrusion, and make it a bit easier to cool.

I would be interested in how those for and work. I purchased a Maxx-air ll vent cover and it wouldn't let the fan cover open up all the way. So I returned it, but would like to have a cover over the fan like yours.

The guy that just moved in next door has the same Fan-Tastic vents and he told me he bought the Fan-Tastic brand covers and they worked perfectly, which is why I looked them up on Camping World and purchased three of them.

I will get back on here and verify that they work, but I have very little doubt that they will.
