Window Vinyl Insert

Is there a trick to installing the vinyl insert around the corner radii of the windows? I am using new insert material and it fits the track correctly for the straight runs, but when I get 3/4 arounf the radius it pops out. Do I need to use a hiar dryer and heat up the insert?

I appreciate anyone's help with this.

There is a special tool for installing the moulding. The mid 80's Chevy Trucks used a similar moulding. Check with your local glass co's, or even better find the nearest Tool truck, such as Snap-on , or Matco , they sell this tool. Try not to use any Silicone, as it will make it slick and as easy to pop out as installing it. Hope this helps. Good luck,
David G.
