I think the state you live in has something to do with glass coverage.
We moved from Minnesota where we had full glass coverage to South Dakota where you pick your deductible for glass coverage, which I think is really under comprehensive.

When we got the MH we just called State Farm as that is where the other vehicles are insured, even our home. We have comprehensive which covers the windows,, you can do a deductible or not. We don't have a deductible and never have any problems getting a windshield replaced when it is cracked.

Just got my windshield replaced last week i have state farm and was as easy as could be no problems i paid the deductible 500 and the total for my one piece windshield was 2400 so i gladly paid my deductible....
There is nothing like looking out a brand new windshield

I just had my windshield replaced and have $250 deductable. When they finished he handed me a bill for $250 plus a $40. install kit Plus tax. THIS IS A SCAM ! You only owe the deductable.
