Windshield replacement help

We need to replace the windshield on our 2018 Thor Hurricane. On our last trip, a crack appeared and has spread. About 20" total and goes to the edge. I had a Safelite guy come just in case it may have been repairable, he said not.

Any suggestions of good shops that can either deal with the RV or come to our location? We are just outside Philadelphia.

Thank you for any help.

Check with FMCA. I think they are associated with a nationwide windshield repair service!

Well our insurance seems to be on top of it. We have Progressive Insurance. I just got a call from Duncan, the company I believe that makes or supplies these windshields. They are processing the claim.
They asked for pictures and expect to be able to ship a windshield to my area within 5-7 days. And they recommended Conshohocken Auto Glass, a nearby shop that looked good at least online.
I'll post results after.
I think I have attached a picture of the crack.

You'll have to find an RV glass installer.

Most any major glass shop can replace an RV windshield, e.g. Safelite. Merely Google RV windshield and you will find several who specialize in supplying the windshields and arranging for installation, either in a local shop or a mobile installer. Or simply contact your insurer, who can make arrangements. Some of the well known motorhome glass services are Nationwide RV Glass, Duncan Systems, Safelite, coachglass.com and RV Glass Solutions.

BTW, there is no such thing as an RV windshield. Class A Motorhomes use windshields borrowed from other large vehicles, typically a truck or bus. Class B and C motorhomes are built on vans that use the standard windshield for the size & model of van.

Thanks Gary. Always good to hear from your experience.
And thank you for the clear explanation of windshields that makes sense.
We have a zero deductible on glass damage so it should be good as new and no cost.
As long as it does not take 3 months like the time our side window shattered while driving along the highway......another story with too many gory details to share. No injury, just the biggest PITA with all the RV extra features.
