Windshield Wiper ARMS

Has anyone changed wiper arms to get more windshield coverage. I have installed 28 inch blades, moved arm on the splines, not enough coverage. I have seen dual arms on some rv would that work Help Jim

The nice thing about these is the wiper system is totally customizable.

Changing arm length will move the area cleared higher or lower on the windshield. Changing to pantograph arms will make hold the blade vertical as it sweeps and make the area more rectangular. Changing the length of arm (or hole the linkage mounts in) on the pivot shaft (that goes through the body) will change the amount of sweep.

Speaking from experience; do not install longer wiper blades than OEM, the mechanism will fail much sooner from the increased resistance, for which it was not designed.
