Windshield wiper covers

Yesterday I stopped in a local rv store and I purchased some mirror covers made by Suntek. They fir great and the quality is excellent. I noticed they also had wiper covers made by the same company but they only had them in white so I didn't purchase them. When I got home I did a little research and it looks like the company is out of business. An internet search turned up one pair but the supplier didn't have them. (outer banks trailer supply). Anyway, I was hoping that one of our members may know where to get my hands on a pair. I would even be willing to purchase the white pair from my local rv store and trade someone for a black pair. Any help would be appreciated! here is a pic

I upgraded our wipers to the RainX Latitudes, but to be honest nothing beats a double coat of RainX on the windshield. Also do the inside and forget about them fogging up.

I do use rain x but want the covers to keep the wiper blades from sun and weather damage when not is use. These covers do just that.

IMO wiper covers and mirror covers are 2 of the 100+ RV accessories sold that no one actually needs.
(Has anyone ever seen mirror or wiper covers on a car)?

Beat me to in Mel. I can't see the reason to cover them up either. Might as well add the tennis ball under the wiper arms to keep the wipers off the windshield too

I use an old trick of putting tennis balls under the wiper arms, that way they do not touch the windshield.
This also good for those that are storing their M/H as the blades will not stick to the windshield.

Reason for using mirror covers - bird poop on mirrors. Birds seem to love my big shiny Chrome mirrors and make a gosh awful mess if I don't cover them. Reason for using the wiper covers - works same as tennis ball and keeps the wiper from sticking to the windshield when the coach sits for 3 months during football season. Southern sun absolutely destroys wiper rubber against hot glass in a short time.

To further answer the OP question. They an be bought at Camping World stores or online. You can also go online to find Adco wiper covers. I paid $19 at an RV show for mine and with my blades costing approx. $70, I'll take any step to make them last a bit longer. Good luck.

What prevents mirror covers from getting gosh awfully messed on?
Do they sell "cover covers" to cover the covers?
Wondering

Makes sense on the wiper blades depending on how much the covers are. Not sure about the side mirrors though. I guess it's easier to remove and clean the covers vs. having to clean the chrome.

After 27 years of RVing, all of it in the desert south west, a couple of quick stops at on the road parts stores for new wiper blades and a couple of burned up mirror tops, I finally got a set for the latest RV. If the RV is going to sit for more than a couple of days, I now use them.

If you want black wiper covers go to Home Depot and buy a 10 foot piece of 1" pipe insulator. About 3 dollars and you can cut and split them to fit any size wiper.

Have a nice day - Darrel

That's exactly what I did. Works great!
