wine glass holder
I'm not sure this is the right thread to ask this,I'm looking for wine glass holders that attach under the kitchen cabinets, that have the slots to hold the base of the glass so they don't hit each other while going down the road. Any help in finding these would be appreciated.(prefer wood ones) Thanks Don

I could not find what I wanted and made them for the motorhome. Not hard to do with a table or radial arm saw.

The problem with the standard wine glass undercabinet holders is they are meant for installations on cabinets that aren't part of a vehicle that moves & sways as it rolls down the road. They still allow the glasses to move, clank together & break.
To remedy this, I purchased acrylic wine glasses like these & they work great in the undercabinet holders. No risk of breaking if they touch.

I have the acrylic glasses but I really prefer the glass. Still haven't found the perfect solution.

I am with TXIceman ... I made my own ... it holds 6 glass wine glasses ... I made it from 1/4 plywood ... the top is a 6.5" x 10" rectangle ... the sides are 1.25" x 10 rectangles ... the bottom is also 6.5"x10" ...
Bottom: I used my 1.5" hole saw to cut 6 circles in 2 lines of 3 ... next I used my radial arm saw (I don't have a bandsaw) to cut a slot wide enough for the stems to slide through from one end of the rectangle through the first two circles and stops when it gets to the third circle ... so if you use == to denote the slot and O to denote the 1.5 holes it looked like
===O===O===O
===O===O===O
I fastened this to the bottom of a shelf in an overhead cupboard ... I found that occasionally one of the glasses would slip out of the slot when we were underway ...
I fixed that by fastening two small eyescrews into the endgrain of the plywood on the outside of the slots ... and I slip a rubber band around the eyescrews before hitting the road ... (I actually have the rubber band threaded through one of the eyescrews so I don't have to hunt for a rubber band)
You determine where to drill the holes by setting your wine glasses upside down on a piece of paper ...
We have only 6 wine glasses because we live by "Ernie parties 6, feeds 4, and sleeps 2"
I think you get the idea ... I have a picture someplace that I could send you if you like ...

To stop the glasses from sliding around and out of the bottom of the cabinet holder, I cut a small piece of foam that I wedged in the slot when on the road. Never had a glass slide out.

What's wrong with a paper cup, or just pass around the bottle or even the box? I guess life is just more simple in Tennessee.
Sorry, I probably should not make light of your question.

Hey sitting around the campfire sipping wine or whiskey from a Dixie Cup....just doesn't get much better.

After checking this question on the web, I found quite a few solutions but none that seem quite the right one to me yet. One that I didn't see here was to put those glass or can cozies on the glasses. Good solution but seems like work to me. Sooner or later I will figure it out (or give up). Oh and paper cups tip over too easily, I don't want to lose my wine!

We bought two of the stemware holders shown on the following website:
Amazon.com: Rev-A-Shelf 3150-11SN 11" Stemware Holder - Satin Nickel: Home Improvement
We placed a large, thick rubber band over each end to keep the glasses on the rack when the bus is in motion. To keep the glasses from clanging together, we wrapped each glass with a piece of rubberized shelf liner and secured it with a rubber band.
