Winegard In Motion Satellite Dome

Always used my Bell SD receiver with my Winegard in Motion Dome and worked great. Since Bell is obsoleting the SD channels and switching to all HD channels my dome wont lock on the HD satellite (Nimiq 82). Has anyone got the dip switch combination for the change?

Solves that. Mine is definitely pre 2010.

Your satellite spins in circles and can adjust up and down inside the dome. However, HD satellites require that the satellite dish be able to "skew", which means that they "cock" to one side or another after spinning and moving up and down.

With that said, I sold my neighbor my KVH SD sat dome back in 2012. He installed it and amazingly, it's still getting SD stations even though DirecTV said they were turning them off years ago. Eleven years for $200, he got a good deal.

I hear you. I have a Direct SD system also. Works well. I usually use the Direct system when traveling in the USA. Always run the Bell while in Canada. They say Bell will drop the SD channels (91 Sat) by fall. Time will tell.
