Winnebago button question

Hey Folks,

I have a 1999 Winnebago Adventurer and I have a mystery toggle switch as you come up the stairs at the top on the left.
There are 3 just as you come in for the porch light, step and light switch but can't figure out what the lonely toggle switch is for. Any ideas?

Ceiling lights? Compartment/basement lights maybe?

If not basement lights, check that every light you see can be turned on. That switch could go to a burned out bulb...

I don't know which model '99 Adventurer the OP has, but looking at the Body, Wiring Installation diagram and the Body, 12 Volt Wiring Diagram for the 35C that appears to be the 'Courtesy' or 'Aisle' light switch. At least on the 35C there should be another switch for the same lights in the rear somewhere and two small lights down by the floor controlled by these switches.

i would say aisle lights as well.mine on my 99 grand tour 39y is over on the side of the cabinet next to the sink.

That is your aisle light switch , there is also one on wall with the ceiling light switch in your bedroom . My 99 Brave35C set up the same way .

On my '03 they were basement storage compartment lights, 12 volt cutoff, and awning....

That’s the battery disconnect switch, typically set OFF during storage.

My vote is for the isle lights.

I have a similar one and I put a very low wattage blue LED light in the floor area. I leave it on all the time for a little light in the hallway at night when we are off shore power. No stubbed toes in the dark.
