Winnebago Electric Vehicles

This is interesting - - according to this article Winnebago is developing a plug-in electric Class A chassis.

First model is a 'blank' vehicle for commercial adaptation, eg bloodmobile, but that sounds like a first step toward an electric motorhome. Unfortunately that first model looks like the same "flying brick" (non)aerodynamic shape and 1980's controls of all current Class A coaches. Actually I'm hopeful that Tesla decides to tackle this soon with a variant of their OTR semi, but we shall see.

And we thought diesel pushers were quiet up front. Imagine the silence. All you would hear are all the rattles and squeaks. lol. New battery technology in the future might open up an entirely different set of rules for transportation. As long as electrical generation can keep up without having to make more coal and nuclear plants.
