Winter RVing

My husband and I are from Florida and have only done Florida Camping. We want to try going up to North Carolina in December. Any advice from some experienced campers on driving/camping in that area in December? We will be camping in a Class A MH.

We went to TN last yr a couple of weeks b-4 Christmas. If you run your RV furnace it will use lots of propane. We purchased a electrical unit from Lowes to use to keep us warm. the combination worked for us. Also the furnace runs on 12V and if you are not staying with power hook ups be sure your batteries are in great shape. good luck....ed

A little more information would be helpful... There is a big difference between Asheville in the mountains and Wilmington near the coast. Where abouts you going?

Welcome to the forum warneaj. Tell us a little about your motorhome and we can probably give you more specific advice. It is subject to get very cold where you're going.
