Ordinarily I wouldn't even waste my time with this, but the lack of customer service that I was provided was SO bad I'd hate to see anyone else make the same mistake I did. I recently went online to purchase 3 AeroFlow roof vents and misc. items for our new RV. I found www.vsatechinc.com online with good prices and ordered from them on 12-4-08. The order and shipping was confirmed on 12-11, my credit card was charged, but there was no tracking info. I called their order number and left a message and sent an email just requesting a tracking number. After two weeks, 4 more phone calls, and 4 more emails, no one would respond. They had my money but would not talk to me. I finally tracked the owner down through Modern RV Center in Grand Rapids, MI. He acknowleged the problem and said my order never got processed and that he would take care of it and get back to me. Never happened! My purchase finally arrived on Jan. 8th, 34 days after ordering. If you want to do business with a company that takes your money and then totally ignores their customer, I suggest VSA Tech Inc. !! I won't use them again.

Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I had similar issues with RV Toy Outlet.com. The issue didn't get resolved until I got my credit card company got involved. I filed a dispute with AmEx who issued me a refund for an item that I never received. I don't understand how these places remain in business.

I really hesitate to trash anybody, but when a company refuses to communicate with their customers, do you want to do business with them? This is the only way I know to let others know. Maybe they won't be around long that way.

I agree!! This day and age, with the way the economy is, they should be kiss'in our butts for the business. Customer service is getting terrible in this country. If they would have atleast responded/communicated back to you, it would have atleast helped. Thanks for the "heads up".

Smalls, All I wanted was to be acknowledged as their customer and a tracking number. How difficult can that be? Even after acknowledging their screw up, they still never got back to me. I had to call the manufacturer for tracking.

The Michigan Better Business Bureau has no record of this lad's business. He appears to be organization of one (1).

The company location is a rural residential (5750 Snow Ave)

He's picture is on Facebook.

I'm not sure who's warehouse he's showing in his "about us" section of his web site but I recognize the southeast Asia packaging on the pallets.

I would encourage you to file a report with the Grand Rapids, MI Better Business Bureau.

I could be wrong.

Donovan, Actually I did the same investigative work that you did and fianlly found him linked to Modern RV, a brick & mortar business in Grand Rapids. Apparently his father owns that business, so he probably grew up with RV's, either learning the business, or poor customer service, don't know which. When I finally found him there, he was surprised. He never apologized, just took the info and never got back to me. I had to call Camco, the distributor to get anywhere and a tracking number, which is all I ever wanted. And you wonder why businesses are failing.

One would wonder, if you are running an RV business in Grand Rapids, Michigan at this time of year, what else do you have to do besides provide good customer service??

You would think that as consumerism falls by the wayside, customer service would increase...sorry for your troubles.

I can't help but wonder if one of main reasons our economy tanked wasn't partly due to very poor to non-existent customer service in this country. I know I generally will only buy from proven businesses anymore. I am tired of the feeling of like it was a pleasure for me to do business with them.

I have to admit that I shopped price on these 3 vent covers. VSAtechinc was the cheapest, but what the heck, I was going to buy them online anyway. They are made by the same manufacturer, and we live rurally (our closest WalMart is 85 miles away)so why not get the best price? But what is so hard about returning one of 4 phone calls and emails?? To take your money and just ignore you, is what makes me mad about this guy. He'll probably read this and come back with some tale of woe about family problems or something. But if you're going to do business, do business.
