WOW - Did You SEE THAT!!?

I finally know why I can never get anything done when I log onto the forum page right now! I find something new to play with every time I come here. (Yep.. we have more smilies... and some of them are animated!)

But even more cool are the "Regional Buttons" that are just under the "Recent Posts" box on the right side! The Oklahoma Boomers have their own button along with the Texas Boomers, the Florida Cooters, the Pond Piggies and the NorEasters! (I probably missed one or two!)

Not only that...but they will take you to that "Region" when you click on them! But wait...there is more!! You won't believe this... but they can also set up an individual "regional rally" button to help share information on those rallies!! (They even rotate...so look at them every time you refresh the page.)

There is sooo much more.. but I don't dare tell you everything in this one post..otherwise they will classify this post as a novella.

Janet... all I can say is

MM

MM,

Thanks for that info-- We'll all learn soon how to navigate this new program.

I thought the photo posting was going to be easier. I still have to resize the images someplace else before they will be accepted. The 'ole "properties" step is now gone -- thank goodness.

The photo section has not been converted to the new software yet.

There is still much work to be done.

If you're referring to attaching photos to a post, if you'll look below the text box as you're creating the post to the Additional Options section, in the Manage Files box you will find a Manage Attachments button. If you click on Manage Attachments, you can either link a file hosted on the internet or upload files (photos) directly from your computer, and they'll be automatically resized.

If, on the other hand, you're referring to the Photo Gallery, that's a work in progress.

Thanks Rusty,

You answered the question. I want to move photos from my computer directly to irv2.

I read the photo posting instructions just yesterday, and I believe it said I must still go elsewhere to resize----

MM,

Nice to hear from you.

I have been busy trying to keep working...

Janet,

I do like the new look a LOT. I find I can spend an entire week here if not careful...

...Oh...and the Merlot/Cabernet thing? It appears that I "overdidit" a bit this past Friday...although others that were there thought I was hilarious if not amusing...whatever that means...

Try attaching a photo as a thumbnail as described above. I've attached 1meg+ photos from my computer to a post, and they've been automatically resized.
